Our blue aluminum window frames faded and showed a chalky white finish, and the dark blue looked like a powdery light blue. Those that got the most direct sunlight were the worst. Having retrofitted double glazing made the difference in colours even more noticeable.
We tried car wax, T cut and ceramic glazes from Ali-express, but nothing was effective.
We looked at repainting, but the cost was prohibitive, and we would no doubt have the same fading issue after a while.
The result has exceeded our expectations. Water is repelled and even after heavy sun, the paintwork keeps its shine. I can highly recommend this system.
